Animal Protection

We decided to set this project – Animal Protection – to raise awareness about how animals can be protected, how we should care about them or even to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership and to emphasise the need for neutering/spaying. The purpose of the project is to spread animal welfare awareness and also have an impact on the society. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership and the need for spaying/neutering through striking virtual and physical campaigning. Moreover you also go onsite where we can deal with the endemic species (either fauna or flora) where traps are set up, observations are done among others. In fact the squad will be rotated each 1 or 2 weeks so that everyone has the chance of working in different NGO’s.During the 6-8 weeks, AIESEC UOM envisions to work and learn from NGOs. We hope to achieve our objectives by reaching out to a maximum of people through promotional materials and goodies during both the physical and virtual campaigning.
